Stavros Theodorakis had a telephone conversation with Sigmar Gabriel, the Vice Chancellor of Germany.
The leader of Potami informed Mr. Gabriel about the large majority of 226 MPs that voted for the Tsipras proposal in the Greek parliament. He asked the Vice-Chancellor to do whatever he can, so that the Agreement regarding Greece gets the widest possible majority in the German parliament.
The Vice Chancellor assured him that there will be no problem and that it is expected that a large majority of the German MPs will approve the plan to assist Greece. He added that the Social Democrats are sparing no effort to ensure that the risk of Greece exiting the Eurozone never appears again. He pointed out that the Grexit is something desired by certain circles in Germany, but also by certain people in Greece.
