I invite you to be there, in a solidarity manifestation. We will all be holding in our hands pieces of paper and tissue, in the colors of the French National flag. No screaming, no slogans.
Dear friends,
I invite you all tonight, at 22pm – around the time when the Paris terror attacks were reported – to join us outside the French Embassy in Athens, Vasilissis Sofias 7 Avenue.
I invite you to be there, in a solidarity manifestation. We will all be holding in our hands pieces of paper and tissue, in the colors of the French National flag. No screaming, no slogans.
We are all being targeted, because we live in a different way, we think in a different way, we get dressed in a different way and we have chosen to live in societies without fatwas. We must defend these choices. Europe may need a new impetus, but it accepts no ultimatum. Contrary to its enemies, it will not be carried away in a witch-hunt. Europe will initiate targeted action. It will isolate and smash terrorists.
