Mr Theodorakis stated that he intends to call the modernized forces of the country, in order to figure out solutions for the dead-end, where the country is. He is urging them to help establish a New Movement, clarifying that this would be the only reason for him to “sacrifice” the autonomy of To Potami.
“It is not enough to get angry with Mr Tsipras and say that we are dragged by from conservatives to populists. We need to react. This should generally be the case. We need to liberate the creative forces of society. In universities, in labour, in youth. This is a call to everyone. We should join our forces and try to change our country, conceding the power that we have. We will not give up. We will not let politics become the prey in the hands of populists, conservatives and professional politicians,” stated Stavros Theodorakis.
