Asked by reporters to comment on the course of negotiations, during his visit to the COSCO`s "Piraeus Container Terminal', Stavros Theodorakis stated the following:
"The controversies and conflicts inside SYRIZA, as well as amongst ministers, rather suggest that when the Prime Minister referred to " tough negotiations " he actually meant tough negotiations within his party, SYRIZA. The country does not have the time nor any other path to follow. We urge the Prime Minister to finally assume his responsibilities. He should decide which deal he should put his signature on. He should present it in Parliament, where we will see the details of the negotiations, we will find out who is for the European path, and finally who is for the salvation of the country. I think that the economy and society don't have time for more infinite loops and endless discussions within parties. We have already decided. The Prime Minister should decide too."
