Let’s put an end to the chaos

From day one, leader of To Potami Stavros Theodorakis has reiterated the need to for specific officials to assume specific responsibilities, so that they won’t get lost in the corridors of bureaucracy.

We repeatedly pointed out the problems of coordination of the central administration, when it comes to handling refugee flow within Greece.

We have repeatedly warned about the potential problems that the chaos, inside and around the refugee camps, could generate.

Problems that could affect the health and security in Greece, as well as problems that can undermine the solidarity and humanity that thousands of our fellow citizens have been demonstrating anonymously.

From day one, leader of To Potami Stavros Theodorakis has reiterated the need to for specific officials to assume specific responsibilities, so that they won’t get lost in the corridors of bureaucracy. Mr Theodorakis has also pointed out the need for the government to make fast decisions and implement them, so that they will not be blocked and hindered by the ideological obsessions or inertia of the responsible ones.

Our proposal for the appointment of a “Super-Minister”, who will overtake all necessary initiatives and will be authorized to accomplish this plan, remains timely.

We hope that the government will not implement this proposal when the situation will be tragic and dangerous, as it usually does.
