POTAMI did not have to wait the asphyxiation of the Economy and Society to make decisions. We have said it and will say it again that we will support any plan serving the need of the country for development, social justice and the reduction of inequalities.
Asked to comment on the Prime Minister’s latest statements, Stavros Theodorakis, the leader of Potami, said:
Mr. Tsipras said that, late last night, his government delivered to the institutions a complete plan for coming out of the crisis. Is there such a plan and who knows about it besides the Prime Minister? For, we still see members of the ANEL-SYRIZA government rehashing dangerous theories about clashing with our partners and returning to the drachma, and we do not understand why the Prime Minister did not defend his final position by being physically present at the five-party meeting in Berlin yesterday. In any case, POTAMI did not have to wait the asphyxiation of the Economy and Society to make decisions. We have said it and will say it again that we will support any plan serving the need of the country for development, social justice and the reduction of inequalities.
