A Potami delegation, headed by the leader of Potami, Stavros Theodorakis, met yesterday with the European Commissioner for Regional Policy, Corina Creţu. During their constructive meeting, they discussed ways in which European funds can be used in order to tackle unemployment and boost the labor market in Greece.
Stavros Theodorakis was accompanied by Odine Linardatou, Potami International Relations Director, George Skemperis, Diplomatic Advisor and Zoi Apostolopoulou, in charge of Migration Policy, accompanied.
At the end of the meeting, Ms Apostolopoulou stated: “Today, we had a very interesting and constructive meeting with Commissioner Corina Creţu and Stavros Theodorakis. In fact, this meeting proved that what Potami has been claiming is true. Indeed, there are funds in the European Union that can be granted to Greece. Using these funds for the creation of new jobs positions is the actual objective. To this end we need to cooperate with the European Commission. These funds should reach the labor market, in targeted investments, and should be effectively exploited. This is our objective and our slogan from now on. A new project which we will elaborate, striving to make it work”.
