This event has been an initiative by To Potami, and it is entitled “Solidarity without Borders”. EP’s S&D wish to express their solidarity towards refugees, as well as Greece, which is tested by the refugee crisis.
Leader of To Potami Stavros Theodorakis will meet, in Brussels, on Tuesday 5 April, EC President Jean-Claude Jucker. Their meeting will take place in Berlaymont, in Mr Juncker’s office. The two of them are expected to talk about the refugee crisis, as well as the latest developments in the economy.

In the framework of this event, Stavros Theodorakis will also meet, Federica Mogherini, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Frans Timmermans, Vice-President of the European Commission.
The leader of To Potami has also been invited by Guy Verhofstadt, President of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats (ALDE). Accepting this invitation, Mr Theodorakis will be delivering a speech before ALDE MEPS in the European Parliament. His speech will focus on the major issue of reforms in Greece and Europe. Besides, as it has been pointed out by Mr Verhofstadt himself, To Potami is the only political party in Greece, right now, which considers reforms an indispensable and defining factor against the collapse of the economy.
