“On a daily basis, problems emerge. Problems related with the inability of the government to deal with reality,” stated Mr Theodorakis, adding that “There must be a national plan, signed by the majority of political forces, which will be served by the majority of political forces. This is how we can make sure that it will also be implemented”.
Stavros Theodorakis pointed out the need for the country to be governed by people with open minds, people who are able to find solutions for the country. “We believe that there is room for a new policy to be executed, as long as modern, creative people join politics,” stated Stavros Theodorakis from Evros, during his tour, where he had the chance to meet representatives of the local society.
Mr Theodorakis pointed out to the Prime Minister that he needs to “assume his responsibilities”. He added, “I can see the transition of the government, passing from its slogans and harshness, to the absolute submission. If the government can govern with its 153 deputies, then let it govern. If it cannot, then it must have the courage to say it before the Parliament, so that we can find a solution to the benefit of the majority. We believe that this country must be governed by people with open minds, progressive minds, people who have worked and who are able to come up with smart solutions for the country. Are there such people in the government? If they think that there are, if they think that they have the best ministers, let them go on like this,” stated Mr Theodorakis, adding that this government has two types of ministers. The ones with hard-line ideology, who have never worked in their live, they don’t know, they cannot handle reality and the ones with good intentions, but no abilities”.

The leader of To Potami added that “we cannot afford another round of elections’, pointing out that he does not trust the government. “The biggest problem of this country is its government. It deceives its citizens. We do not expect the government of Mr Tsipras and Mr Kammenos to resolve the problem in Syria. But we do expect them to deal with specific, small things that distress the Greek economy”.
He concluded that there is a need for the spirit of creative Greece, in the governance of the country.
