"We can defeat fascists and populists"

Leader of To Potami Stavros Theodorakis sent out a very powerful message, in favor of Europe and the European integration. Mr Theodorakis participated in the "March for Europe" and had the chance to address hundreds of Europeans.

Read his inspiring message:

"I am representing Athens and I am here to give you a message. In my country, in Greece, there are not only populists and conservatives. In my country, there are also fanatic Europeanists. Paraphrasing Greek poets, I would tell you that we need to shut out fascists and leftist anti-Europeanists, populists. If we do not make it, the responsibility will be all ours. We can win and have the version of Europe that we dream of, without concessions to populists and conservatives. I am not only referring to the obvious cases of populists and conservatives, but also to the latent ones. Remember. We can make it!"
